The Vltava String Quartet is very lucky to have in its ranks trained soprano Erin Dollard, who is also an accomplished viola player.

Erin studied singing under Patricia Finnegan Newell for ten years, and more recently under the tuition of the acclaimed Virginia Kerr and Sylvia O’ Regan at the Royal Irish Academy of Music. As part of her college education, she spent a year in Leipzig, Germany, where she pursued her singing under Angelina Arnold, as well as continuing her viola studies. Erin has touched audiences throughout the country with her distinctive clear voice, as attested to by her prize winnings at the ESB Feis Ceoil.
